Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Namehaven (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.

2. The Service

Namehaven provides dynamic and authoritative DNS: hostnames on our domains, and DNS hosting for domains you own. You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you create and for delegating your own domains correctly.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service for anything unlawful, to host malware or phishing, to send spam, to infringe others' rights, or to disrupt the Service or its infrastructure. We may suspend or remove hostnames, records, or accounts that violate this section, with or without notice.

4. Accounts

You must provide a valid email and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and any API tokens you issue. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

5. Plans, billing & refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance for the interval shown at checkout (monthly or yearly), by card or cryptocurrency. Card subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; crypto payments are one-time and do not auto-renew. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Free-tier limits may change with notice.

6. Availability

We work to keep the Service reliable but provide it "as is" without a guaranteed uptime unless a separate agreement says otherwise. We are not liable for losses arising from DNS downtime, propagation delays, or misconfiguration.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that we're required to act on by law. On termination, your hostnames and records stop being served.
